Privacy Policy
At a glance
- ApplyWisp reads your resume inside your browser. Your resume and profile are never uploaded or sent to the developer or anyone else.
- There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
- Your details are stored only in your browser, and you can delete them at any time.
What information ApplyWisp handles
When you upload a resume, ApplyWisp reads it on your device and saves the details it finds, plus anything you type on the profile page:
- Name, email address, phone number and mailing address
- Links such as LinkedIn, GitHub or a personal website
- Work history, education, skills, languages and certifications
- Answers you choose to save for common application questions, such as work authorization, salary expectations or a default cover letter
- A copy of your resume file, so it can be attached to resume upload fields
ApplyWisp does not collect your browsing history, and it does not read web pages except when you ask it to fill one.

Your details never leave your device. They are not synced to any server run by the developer.
How it is used
ApplyWisp uses your details for one purpose: to fill job application forms when you click Fill this page or press the keyboard shortcut. It types into the form on that page and never submits the form for you. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for advertising, credit decisions or any other purpose.
Permissions
storageandunlimitedStorage: to save your profile and resume file in your browser.activeTabandscripting: to fill the form on the page you are viewing, only when you ask.- Access to websites: so ApplyWisp can fill application forms on any employer's site, including forms embedded from another site (for example, a careers page that shows a Greenhouse form). ApplyWisp only acts on a page when you click Fill.
Third parties
ApplyWisp does not send your information to any third party. The optional "Buy me a coffee" page opens PayPal in a new tab only if you click a coffee button. Anything you enter there is handled by PayPal under PayPal's privacy statement, not by ApplyWisp.
Deleting your information
Open ApplyWisp's profile page and click Delete my saved details. Removing the extension from your browser also deletes everything it stored.
Children
ApplyWisp is meant for people applying for jobs and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If ApplyWisp ever changes how it handles information, this page will be updated with a new effective date before the change takes effect.
